KDOL is located in the Harper Building at 314 E. 10th St. (the corner of E. 10th St. and 4th Ave) in Oakland.

During regular business hours (Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) you can enter the Harper Building on E. 10th St. Go up the stairs, down the long hallway, and then back down the stairs. The door to our studio will be on your left. You can also use the brown double doors on the rear of the building, which can be accessed from the alley behind the building, off of 4th Ave. Our "after hours"/weekend entrance is also on the rear of the building, closer to 4th Ave.

AC Transit
Lines 11 and 62 service this area. You can also take the following lines to Lake Merrit BART station and walk from there to our station (follow the directions below): 11, 12, 59, & 62.

BART
Lake Merrit BART Station is located at 800 Madison Street between 8th and 9th Streets, a five- to ten-minute walk from our station. Walk up Madison to 10th Street and turn right. Walk down E. 10th Street, past the Oakland Museum, Laney College, and the Henry J. Kaiser Convention Center. Our building will be on the left hand side of the street.

Driving Directions

From San Francisco:
Take I-80 East over the Bay Bridge. Once off the bridge, stay in the right lanes in order to take I-880 South. Take 16th Avenue exit off I-880. Immediately turn right at the stop sign on to Embarcadero. Follow Embarcadero until you reach 5th Ave. Turn right on to 5th Ave. and drive under the overpass and over the railroad tracks. The second stop light is E. 10th Street. Turn left on to E. 10th St. The Harper Building is on the corner of E. 10th St. and 4th Ave.

From Berkeley,
Walnut Creek & 580 West. 580 West to 980 South, exit Jackson St. Left on Oak St., under freeway, go 3 blocks, turn right on E. 10th St. Continue on E. 10th past Oakland Museum on the left, past Laney College on the right, to Harper Building on left across from Laney College track.

From I-580 East:
From I-580 East, take the exit towards Grand Ave. Merge onto Macarthur Blvd. Turn right onto Grand Ave. Turn left onto El Embarcadero. Turn slight right onto Lakeshore Ave. Turn slight left onto unnamed road. Turn slight right onto 1st Ave. Turn slight right onto E. 14th St./International Dr. Turn right onto 2nd Ave. Turn left onto E. 10th St. The Harper Building is on the corner of E. 10th St. and 4th Ave.

From Hayward, San Ramon, Fremont:
North 880, take 5th Ave. exit. This exit crosses under freeway to The Embarcadero. Turn right on Embarcadero. Turn right on 5th Ave, going back under 880, over railroad tracks. Through one light, left on E. 10th St. at the second light. One block to Harper Building, on right, across the street from Laney College track.
