KDOL INDIE HOUR FILM and VIDEO HOUR

Urban Dreams Videos:

The Urban Dreams Video Project sent filmmakers into Oakland Public High School classrooms to mentor teachers and students during the production of videos about human or civil rights and/or social justice. Join us to view the results of their hard work: socially conscious video projects that focus on issues important to Oakland youth. The videos include "CRNN-Civil Rights News Now", "Gay Marriage--A Right or Wrong?", "The Lost Youth", and "Where do you do when your community crumbles?". Mondays and Wednesdays at 2:00PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00PM, Saturdays and Sundays at 3:00PM, through July 31 (starting June 21).

ATTENTION FILM AND VIDEO PRODUCERS:

Here is your opportunity to have up to 70,000 people view your film or video. The Oakland Unified School District's non-profit educational access cable television station, KDOL, is hosting an "Indie" Film and Video Hour. We are looking for creative films and/or videos that are educational, informative, and socially conscious. We are especially interested in youth-produced media. Eligible submissions will be aired on KDOL, Comcast cable channel 27, in Oakland, California.
