KDOL Sports covers a broad range of high school sporting events (baseball, basketball, swimming, bowling, football, etc.) in the Oakland Public Schools and the Oakland Athletic League. Highlights are often chosen to show positive moments from each event.

KDOL Sports aims to give our District's athletes the opportunity to view their performances on television, come into the studio and get copies of footage, and even edit a videotape of highlights for personal or academic use.

KDOL Sports covers events and organizations in Oakland which positively effect Oakland youth in the areas of sports and academics.

KDOL Sports follows the careers of OUSD alumni by covering matches where students who have gone on to play for major colleges and universities play locally.

In Bounds with the Oakland Raiders
KDOL's Sports Director, Mario Bobino, interviews Oakland Raiders football players about sports and academics. The players discuss the importance of high school athletes maintaining their physical shape, staying healthy during the season, and keeping up with their academic studies. The players share their own educational and career histories as a way of stressing the value of a good education when considering a career in sports.
